What is the Summit about?

As we enter the third decade of this century, humans face unprecedented challenges. For many years, society has put pressure on governments and multilateral institutions to solve the many unresolved issues that threaten our existence. But experience tells us that we cannot rely on them alone to put solutions in place. Transformation requires a coordinated effort of local, national and global authorities along with many private sector actors and the commitment and actions of informed citizens. And banks.

We believe banking is part of the solution.

We will explore how banking can help solve the challenges of our time:

MIGRANTS
the crisis of displaced persons and social inclusion

#METOO
gender and
diversity issues

MELTING
ICECAPS
how climate change
affects us all

Join us to change how money works in the world

GABV member banks are redefining banking to put its ecosystem in service of people and the planet. At the Summit, we will:

  • explore how Values-based Banking can address social, environmental, and economic challenges
  • explore how to create an accountable and transparent banking system to support a radically different future
  • create a rich discussion and inspirational exchange of actionable ideas
